Our standoff insulators are gray in color with an outer glaze coating so that dust and dirt will not adhere to the insulator and interfere with the performance of the insulator. Meister International supplies electrical standoff insulators complete with brass inserts on each end of the insulator with a center mounting hole in each insert. The brass inserts are held in place with Portland cement so that the inserts remain in place during high mechanical stresses as well as high-temperature environments. The design of the electrical standoff insulators we offer takes into account both the mechanical and electrical requirements of IEEE, IEC, NEMA and ANSI Standards. Testing is also performed in accordance with the applicable industry standards.
